How to Spin up a Comet Server

The Comet Server is the central management for all the components of your backups – from the users to the devices and storage.

You can use a Comet-Hosted Server or a self-hosted Comet Server.

If you're self-hosting your Comet Server, you need to:

• Make sure you meet the system requirements.
• Set up a Server self-backup to make sure you can retrieve your user and backup settings in case of Server loss.
