Overview of your Comet Setup
The Comet Backup system works on the client-server model.
The backup software consists of two components:
- Comet Management Console, a server-side application that manages user accounts and stores backup data; and
- Comet Backup, a client-side application that performs backup and restore operations on a user's device.
The Comet Management Console runs on a designated computer, and this Console acts to manage, control, and monitor backup jobs from client devices.
