This is a non-essential update that fixes some minor issues only. None of the content is related to the security issue in the previous 22.11.2 release.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix an issue with the COMET_FORCE_VSS_PROVIDER environment variable not taking effect in subprocesses (#3807 / #4168)
  • Fix an issue with token-based silent installation on Windows failing to auto-login the client (#4138)
  • Fix an issue with the Comet Backup desktop app failing to run on Linux due to being unable to find the backup-tool binary (#4172 / #4167)
